Arts Council of Wales is the country’s funding and development agency for the arts.
Our vision is of a creative Wales where the arts are central to the life and wellbeing of the nation.
Our strategy is straightforward – it’s summed up in just three words: Make, Reach, Sustain.
Making art, ensuring it connects and giving it a durable legacy are indivisible. And these are the themes that underpin our work.
The Welsh Government is the devolved Government for Wales. We are working to help improve the lives of people in Wales and make our nation a better place in which to live and work.
The Welsh Government consists of:
· The First Minister
· Welsh Ministers
· The Counsel General
· Deputy Ministers.
They are supported by civil servants who work across devolved areas that include key areas of public life such as health, education and the environment.
We aim to be open and responsive to the needs of citizens and communities and are one of the few governments in the world that publishes Cabinet minutes and papers. Responsibility for most key areas of public life including health, education and environment is devolved.

For over 40 years Chapter has been the heartbeat of creativity in Cardiff. We’re an ambitious, multi-artform venue that presents, produces and promotes international art, live performance and film alongside a dynamic social space.
Located in a vibrant European capital city, Cardiff Metropolitan University is a thriving and modern university. Integral to the city of Cardiff for more than 150 years, we continue to invest in our students’ future with a focus on student employability and enhancing the student experience; providing education and training opportunities of the highest quality to students from over 140 countries worldwide.
Since opening, the Centre has presented an eclectic and interesting range of art forms, remaining true to its original vision of bringing the best of the world to Wales and showcasing the best of Wales to the world. In our first six years we have already established a track record of excellence and a reputation amongst artists and producers as one of the world’s leading centres for the performing arts.
We facilitate international work in the arts through collaborations, projects, networks and communication.
We provide advice and support to artists and arts organisations from Wales who work on an international level. We are also a contact point for international artists and arts organisations working in Wales.
BayArt is artist-led at its heart, embedded within a beautiful, intimate, creative space in one of Cardiff Bay’s busy streets. Butetown Artists occupy 16 studios above the gallery, along with a studio flat suitable as an artist residency/research space. BayArt gallery exists to support fine art practice, through offering a platform for exhibitions to a range of emerging and mid career artists, from Wales and further afield. BayArt also offers interpretation of its exhibitions for a range of different audiences through artists talks, seminars and workshops. Key to every show is the invitation to schools to work with the gallery on projects to develop children’s and teacher’s understanding of contemporary art. The approach is one of inclusivity and accessibility, seeing the gallery as a creative space, in which art can be experienced and explored. We are a gallery that is artist owned and artist led. Our exhibition and educational programme involves artists as creators, curators, interpreters and ideas led instigators. The idea and fact of art is at the heart of everything we do.
4π are an experiential art, marketing and events agency offering creative solutions utilising 360° content.
